Tesla’s new updated Model S Plaid is becoming the quickest car ever made, and it
set the stage for an even more insane new Roadster coming next year. Tesla Model
S Plaid Tesla dropped so much news at the same time last week that it was hard
to digest, including the fact that Tesla launched the new quickest car ever
made. The automaker originally launched the Model S Plaid in September of last
year, but the vehicle was still more than a year away at that point, and we
didn’t even know what it looked like With the launch of the refresh Model S,
Tesla has updated its trims, accelerated the release of the Plaid, and announced
a new Plaid+ to come on a similar timeline as the original. The Model S Plaid
now is listed with 390 miles of range, 200 mh top speed, and 1.99 second 0-60
mph acceleration. The acceleration is quick enough to make the Model S Plaid the
quickest car ever made:
